Who can forget the shocking headlines that rocked the entertainment world with the death of Anna Nicole Smith in February 2007?
Anna Nicole Smith started her dramatic life on November 28, 1967 in Texas. Back then she was called by her given name Vicki Lynn Hogan. Life was tumultuous for Vicki as she shuttled back and forth between her mother’s home and her aunt’s. Dad had long since abandoned the young family.
At age 17, Vicki Lynn married Billy Smith and soon along came Daniel. Billy didn’t stick around and Vicki supported herself with waitress jobs and topless dancing. During this time, Vicki used a few different names before finally deciding that her “stage” name would be Anna Nicole.
All along it had been Anna Nicole’s dream to be like Marilyn Munroe. A couple of breast implants and some other cosmetic treatments made her ready to take on the world. Anna Nicole entered the Playboy Cover contest, winning Playmate of the year in 1993. That kind of honor will get a girl places!
In June 1994, the already outrageous Anna Nicole Smith married J. Howard Marshall who was in a wheelchair and over age 85. Until her dying day, Anna Nicole Smith maintained that she loved J. Howard Marshall and cared for him, in spite of ugly accusations that she was just a gold digger. J. Howard Marshall died in August 1995.
Between 2002 and 2004 Anna Nicole Smith had her own television show. It featured Anne Nicole’s life in detail from the mundane activities li8ke going to the dentist to the celebrity galas that Anna Nicole loved so much.

Anna Nicole’s son, Daniel, was her life’s light and his tragic death from an accidental drug overdose in the Bahamas in September 2006 was a tremendous blow for the famous but troubled entertainer. Just three days before Anna Nicole had given birth to Dannielynn never imagining that she would never live to see her baby daughter grow up. Anna Nicole Smith died at age 39 due to an accidental drug overdose.
